Design Studio

For high school students applying to Art/Design colleges: The Design Studio is designed to support students aspiring to creative careers by helping them build a compelling portfolio for university applications to top art and design fields.

The curriculum is individually tailored, adapting to individual students and their preferred field of art and design. Students participate in the studio after school and on weekends to develop their work under professional mentorship. Upon completion of the studio, students will walk away with a strong portfolio ready for college application, as well as feeling confident in their creative and design skills.

As a project and critique driven course, students are given the tools and guidance to work in a stimulating environment from which exciting possibilities can arise.

Hours

Students participate in Design studio after school to develop their creative work under professional mentorship.

The amount of time to create a body of work varies between students. During the introduction, we will determine a schedule that works for you. It is encouraged that students begin developing their portfolio two years (minimum 6 months) prior to college application.
