Kul Creative Studio is a forward-thinking institution for art and design education. It’s core mission is to enable students to pursue their desired fields of creative arts through exploration and dialogue, fostering well-rounded design thinking and discovering their unique potential and passion.
Through mentorship from industry professionals and passionate educators, our students are able to become creative leaders of their generation and achieve excellence in their field of study.
Situated in beautiful Lake Forest Park WA, the studio provides a calming and spacious environment for students to explore their diverse fields of interest.
Director
Betty Huang earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and has built a diverse design career with leading companies such as Olson Kundig, Amazon, KPF, Perkins Eastman, Chewy, ZGF Architects, and FXFOWLE. She later founded a creative education studio in Lake Forest Park, WA, where she brings her expertise and passion for design to inspire others.
Betty’s creative journey highlights her passion for material exploration, spatial awareness, and sensory perception. Her forward-thinking approach, combined with technical expertise, shapes the learning experience at Kul Creative Studio. She empowers students to strengthen their technical skills while unlocking the endless potential of expression, materiality, context, and intuition.
